BARREL
Heart of the gun, this 5.56 chambered 16 inch barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish and QPQ coated M4 feed ramp extension. These barrels are properly stress relieved after rifling, air-gauge tested, and individually checked for optimal headspace. The barrels are dimpled to accept set screw style gas blocks to ensure proper alignment and function in adverse conditions.

GAS BLOCK AND GAS TUBE
4140 Heat Treated Steel for the gas block and stainless for the gas tube. The finish on the block is a QPQ finish to exceed ASTM B117. It utilizes two set screws which are properly torqued and secured using ceramic thread locker for a secure mount. The gas tube is secured via American made coiled roll pins.

HANDGUARD
Machined from a 6061-T6 extrusion, the JTF standard line of free float handguards will provide you with a lifetime of service. The 6061-T6 aluminum barrel nut does not need to be indexed for gas tube clearance. The anti-rotation tabs are designed to fit a standard forged upper receiver and will ensure that the rail will not shift if the mounting screws come loose. The patented ASAL mounting feature ensures that there is no forward movement of the handguard and keeps it from shifting due to tension on the mounting screws. Anti-rotation tabs may be a tight fit on forged uppers, and may require hand fitting on billet uppers.
