Description
This is a great basic upper group! It comes standard with several features found on our more expensive uppers and carbines but at a lower price point.
BARREL – The heart of the upper is the 16 inch, 1 in 7 twist, 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium nitride barrel with a pinned nitrided steel gas block and stainless midlength gas tube. Made by a top tier barrel manufacturer for a partner company, these barrels can deliver down to 1 MOA accuracy with match ammo.
UPPER – The upper is a mil-spec forged upper receiver and features our quality upper parts kit. The roll pins have been replaced with 420 stainless coiled roll pins for corrosion resistance and expertly installed. It features the company logo on the tang above the charging handle. Logo can be substituted for your design for extra or left off for no extra charge.
RAIL – The handguard is 15 inches with plenty of Mlok mounting points and is attached via an aluminum barrel nut. It is made of 6061 T6 aluminum that has been properly hardcoat anodized black. It is secured with a “key” lock that indexes off the barrel nut and 2 tension screws. It also features anti-rotational tabs that index off the upper for a sure fire fit that won’t come loose on you.
FLASH HIDER – A standard A2 flash hider properly mounted and torqued to a crush washer.
All upper receiver groups are test fired for function and inspected afterwards. BCGs or Bolts purchased with URGs will be head spaced prior to function check and shipping. Since each URG is assembled to order and is individually test fired, please allow 10 to 14 days for your order to ship.
