Davis Tactical Holsters

If you’re anything like me, then you probably shop around for holsters a lot. Its not that the holster you have now isn’t good enough, it’s just, what if there is a better one out there? Well in my never ending quest to find new holsters I came across Davis Tactical.

What caught my attention at first was they were one of the only holster makers on eBay and Amazon to make an IWB holster for a Glock 19 with a Streamlight TLR7A Flex mounted on it. And not only that, but they did it for under $60, so I was definitely interested. So I ordered the one for my G19 on eBay and began the painful wait. Fortunately I only had to wait about 2 weeks before I got it in the mail.

With the concealment Claw

I opted to get mine with the concealment claw that helps push it more into the body. This helps it print less when I’m wearing something thinner like a T-Shirt. The holster is made with .080 KYDEX® a thermoplastic that is fire retardant with significantly high impact strength and extensibility. KYDEX® is less hygroscopic, offering more uniform forming with less wall thinning and substantially high resistance to a broad range of corrosive chemicals. I’ve left it in hot cars, and worn it in all kinds of conditions with great results.

So what do I think? Well after using it consistently for over 6 months, I have to say I like it. In fact I like it a lot. I can wear it all day with comfort and with the way the retention is, I have it tuned where I want it. I’m getting consistent draws with it and good retention, and even better it can accommodate a mounted optic, so if I get one in the future I’m good to go.

So definitely check them out on eBay or Amazon, but I recommend their website more. And why do I recommend the website above all else? Because they offer my readers and viewers a 10% discount, that’s why. So head over to www.DavisTactical.com and use code COPTALKS10 for your discount. I might ad that I was contacted by Davis Tactical who offered the code along with some discounted holsters for me to review. I was not paid for this review, nor was anything supplied to me for free.
